The rhythmic heartbeat of the song calms my thoughts A breath away, calmness may be But I am swept away in the storm once more Assaulted on all sides by my own unsettled consciousness Could I cry for help when I am the one I call for help from? Futile to escape these thoughts, Like the very virus that plagues me, inescapable This horrid fear that can be subdued only by the steady and reliable beating of those drums Oh those wondrous drums, pull me away Clean thy soul and hands Wrap the mask of soothing numbness around my mouth And I will drift off in the bubble of soap that is my only current comfort Music
