The WPHS Italian Club, which meets in room A220 every Wednesday, is having a blast while celebrating Italian culture. So far this year, the club members have played Italian games, eaten Italian food, and even watched a live demonstration on how to make Insalata Caprese, a tomato-mozzarella dish!
Evan Rosen, the club’s president, said, “At the Italian club, we love sharing the Italian culture through fun activities and experiences that range from mini games to learning about Italy’s rich heritage and geography.” Such mini games involve jeopardy-like trivia games and group speed challenges.
Beyond celebrating heritage and culture, the club is planning exciting activities for the coming months. Later this year, they plan on taking a trip to see “And Juliet,” a Broadway musical about what would have happened if Juliet hadn’t ended it over Romeo. Stay tuned for more exciting events that are in the works!
Anybody is welcome to join the Italian club. Evan said, “At the WPHS Italian club, we are one big family who loves sharing all that Italy has to offer with others.”
