The Asian Club at White Plains High School is a vibrant community that celebrates the richness and diversity of Asian cultures through a variety of engaging activities throughout the year. It offers students unique opportunities to explore, learn, and enjoy themselves in a welcoming environment.
One popular event is the Asian Culture Salon, where members gather to discuss topics ranging from Asian history and traditions to modern pop culture. Another crowd favorite is the annual Lunar New Year Celebration, featuring cultural performances, delicious food, and festive decorations to honor this traditional Asian holiday.
Food lovers flock to Dumpling Rocks, where students get hands-on experience making and tasting dumplings, a traditional favorite. The club also offers Immersion in Taichi, teaching students the calming, meditative movements of this ancient material art and, Traditional Calligraphy Art, where members can try their hand at mastering the beautiful art of calligraphy.
