Did you know that at White Plains High School has a bowling team? This year's season began in the middle of November and ended at the beginning of February. Every three days at the beginning of the week the group meets, getting free rides to the bowling alley to practice for events against other schools like Scarsdale, Pelham, and Yonkers.

“My dad said they’ve been around since the nineties,” a student named Tomas recalled.

Another two students associated with the team, averaged between 153 and 162 – some of the top players within the whole league. Coach Armogida acknowledges that there are very few female members and not enough to make a whole women's team. The high school would greatly appreciate new members for the next winter season.
